The Calder Shop will be open Saturday, July 4 for a Porch Sale from 10 am to 3 pm.
For the museum location in Equinunk:
Beginning on Wednesday, July 1st, the Equinunk Historical Society will open by appointment only. We will make appointments for Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 2 - 4 o'clock and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon to 4 o'clock.
Call 570-224-6722 and leave a message, or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request appointment. There will be no programs this year, but we will be holding our Annual Chili sale on November 14th as scheduled.
The Open House weekends for the Joel Hill Sawmill and Cleveland Museum had been scheduled for July 11-12 and August 8-9.
In view of the COVID-19 situation, the number of visitors must be limited, and this is what has been decided:
Tours will be given at Joel Hill Sawmill on July 11 & 12 and August 8 & 9 at 11 AM. Only one tour will be given each day. These tours will be limited to 12 people and will be by RESERVATION ONLY at 570-798-2420. Please ask for Greg or Kathy. Leave a message if necessary with required info and a call will be returned.
There will be no sale items and no refreshments available. Face masks will be required. Once a tour is complete and a log is sawn the tour will proceed to the Cleveland Museum.
If any group or family who would be interested in a private tour, please let us know as we can probably schedule them.
As always, there is no admission fee for our tours, but donations are more than welcome, as normal expenses of both the Mill/Museum and Equinunk Historical Society continue.
We look forward to seeing you. 🙂
